On January 16, the Lieutenant-Governor of New Brunswick, Jocelyne Roy Vienneau and XV, Qin, Premier of Hebei Province, jointly signed an agreement on the establishment of friendly province relations between the two provinces. It is believed that the pragmatic cooperation between the two sides will achieve mutually beneficial and win-win development in a wider range of areas.
Premier XV, Qin welcomed to the Governor Couple and friends from New Brunswick, and congratulated on the establishment of friendly provincial relations between the two sides. He said that major opportunities such as the construction of the “Belt and Road”, the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the planning and construction of the Xiong’an New Area, and the preparation of the Winter Olympics are all gaining momentum in Hebei, providing broad space for the two sides to carry out all-round cooperation. It is hoped that the two sides will take the establishment of friendly provincial relations as a new starting point to establish a high-level exchange of visits mechanism and a daily communication mechanism between the two provincial governments, deepen exchanges and cooperation in industry, agriculture, education, culture, tourism, environmental protection, ice and snow sports, and promote friendly relations to a new level.
Lieutenant-Governor Jocelyne Roy Vienneau said that this year is the China-Canada Tourism Year. New Brunswick has beautiful scenery, rich resources, openness and tolerance. The people of Hebei are welcome to visit and invest in the new province. She hopes that the two sides will spark more cooperation through in-depth exchanges and achieve win-win development in a wider range of areas.
New Brunswick is the most developed coastal province in Canada, with a total area of 73,440 square kilometers and a population of about 750,000. The capital is Fredericton, and the largest city is St. John. It is an important channel connecting Canada to Europe. Its industries including forestry, fisheries, tourism, health and others have developed rapidly. The evergreen forests in the province account for 85% of the area. The rural scenery and the beautiful coastline complement each other. The unique natural scenery composed of grass, blue sea and blue sky makes the province a paradise for tourist lovers and campers.
From the initial exchanges between the two provinces to the intention of developing friendly exchanges, and to the final establishment of the friendly provinces, Sunrise Group adopted practical, meticulous and efficient services to accompany and witness the development of friendship between the two provinces and the in-depth exchange of cooperation. It is hoped to continue to contribute to the exchanges between the two countries at the federal, provincial levels, and various industries.
