Mr. Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, started his second official visit to China during his term of office from December 3rd to 7th and met with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang during his visit. The leaders of China and Canada have had extensive communications in economic and trade cooperation, cultural communications and other fields.

On December 4th, Prime Minister Trudeau visited Sina headquarters, met with Sina president and CEO, and Weibo president Charles Chao, and spoke with four young Chinese travelers. Sina live-streamed the entire event.
Next year is the China-Canada Year of Tourism and Canada has opened seven new visa centers in Chengdu, Hangzhou, Jinan, Kunming, Nanjing, Shenyang and Wuhan to facilitate more Chinese tourists to visit Canada, the Prime Minister said.
At last, Prime Minister of Canada Trudeau, Minister of Small Business and Tourism of Canada Bardish Chagger, Director of China National Tourism Administration Li Jinzao and President of Sina Charles Chao unveiled the LOGO of China-Canada Year of Tourism.
Mr. Zhou Xuan, president of Sunrise Group, was invited to attend the China-Canada Year of Tourism in Sina, and exchanged ideas on the development of China-Canada tourism industry with the Minister of Tourism Canada and Director of Destination Canada.
On the afternoon of December 4th, Prime Minister Trudeau successfully had a second round of annual Leader’s Dialogue with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, announcing the establishment of a new type of partnership between Canada and China. On the evening of December 4th, Prime Minister Trudeau attended the state banquet hosted by Premier Li Keqiang in the Golden Hall of the Great Hall of the People.
Mr. Zhou Xuan, the president of Sunrise Group, was also honored to attend the event in the Great Hall of the People as the representatives of 25 Canadian entrepreneurs and prominent Chinese immigrants.
On the morning of December 5th, Mr. Zhou Xuan attended a breakfast meeting hosted by Ambassador McCallum. Later he attended the Business Roundtable held by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau together with business representatives from China and Canada.
27 Canadian business representatives including Canadian Ambassador to China McCallum, Minister of Small Business and Tourism of Canada Bardish Chagger, Minister of Environment Canada Catherine McKenna, Minister of Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade François-Philippe Champagne, Senator Mary Ng, Shaun Chen, and five representative Chinese immigrant entrepreneurs attended the roundtable meeting. Jingdong Board of Directors Liu Qiangdong, General Manager of China Southern Airlines Tan Wangeng and President of China Express Airlines Wu Longjiang also attended the meeting.
As one of the representatives, Mr. Zhou Xuan exchanged views with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and entrepreneurs of China and Canada on deepening the cooperation in economy, trade and science technology, and innovation.
At the roundtable, Mr. Zhou Xuan expounded his views on China-Canada economic and trade cooperation to Prime Minister Trudeau and other political and business representatives. Mr. Zhou Xuan said that China and Canada are highly complementary in resources and have great potential for future cooperation in various fields. China has also become an increasingly important trade and investment partner for Canada. He hopes that in the future, there will be more communication and cooperation in more fields such as culture and education.
