Sunrise Group Successfully Facilitated 2014 Canada Premiers Mission on China
This is the third time that the delegation of Canada’s Premiers went to China on October, 2014. Prince Edward Island Premier Robert Ghiz led the delegation of over 380 business, arts, education and institutional leaders. PEI Premier Robert Ghiz, Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne, and Québec Premier Phillippe Couillard met with several Senior Chinese political leaders in Beijing including: Mr. Jiang Daming, China’s Minister of Land and Resources; Mr. Huang Shuhe, Vice Chairman of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council; Mr. Tong Daochi, China’s Assistant Minister of Commerce; Mr. Wan Gang, China’s Minister of Science and Technology. The mission visited Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Sanya, Hangzhou, Qingdao, etc. The delegates had a friendly visiting and communication with their sister provinces.
During this visiting, Sunrise Group cooperated with Canadian Premier Mission once again, which facilitated the mission as logistics provider and arrangement. Sunrise Group worked hard and completed successfully on preparation, reception, coordination, translation and interpretation for this visiting. The delegates were impressed with the high level of professionalism and careful arrangement of Sunrise Group.
During the visiting, Mr. Li Xiaolin, president of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, met with Prince Edward Island Premier Robert Ghiz. The meeting was aimed at promoting not only inter-governmental communication among Canadian and Chinese provinces but also getting more opportunities for cooperation. “Even though network technology developed today, we could have the connection in many ways,” said Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne, “Any of them cannot substitute the communication by face to face.”
